Solaa kadi

Ingredients 

5-6 solaa (dried Kokum peels)

1 tbsp chopped cilantro for garnish

1 tsp salt

200ml coconut milk

2 big garlic pods

1 green chili


Method

In a bowl take 1/2 cup warm water 

Mix in salt and soak solaa

Keep aside for 2-3 hours

The sola will release its juice and the water will turn red. 


In a blender grind garlic, green chili with coconut milk

Add this mix to the soaked solaa mix

Garnish with cilantro and serve with white rice 

Note: Increase/ decrease quantity of Solaa depending on how much color they release.
