Pav Bhaaji


 Ingredients

For Veggies
  • 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped cauliflower
  • 1 medium sized potato
  • 1/2 cup carrots
  • 1/2 cup beans
For dish
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tomato chopped fine
  • 2 tbsp pav bhaji masala
  • 1 tspn chilli powder
  • 5 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp butter
Method


Boil all vegetables listed under veggies and mash coarsest.



Put half the butter in a pan, add onion and fry well
Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till brown
Add tomatoes and saute till butter separates.
Mix in the pav bhaaji masala & red chili powder. Add a little water and cook for 5 mins
Add the mashed vegetables & peas and mix well. Smash the peas a bit 
Let cook for 5 mire mins on sim.
Take off gas and add lemon juice.
Garnish with coriander and a blob of butter


On a tava heat butter and place bread on it. Fry till little brown.
