Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup ghee
  • 5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 1 cup ghee & 1 cup oil for frying
Method

Heat sugar with ghee and water till the sugar and ghee melts. 
Take off the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
Now add salt, flour and knead it into a tight dough. 
Keep it aside for 30mins.


Heat 1/2 cup of ghee & oil each for deep frying
Knead the dough well and make thin chapati
Cut into small square pieces.

Fry method
Deep fry the pieces in oil till they are browned. Take out on a paper towel.

Bake method
Preheat oven at 370 deg C
Grease the baking tray with ghee
Place the cut pieces in a single layer
Spray with oil 
Bake 10 mins, flip and bake for another 10 mins

Storage 
Allow them to cool to room temperature and then store in air tight container.
