Sungta Londche (Shrimp Pickle)



Ingredients


For marination
500 gms shelled & deveined shrimp
3 tbsp green masala 
1 tpsn salt
1/2 tspn tumeric
Mix all and keep for atleast 1 hour


For dish
1/2 cup oil
pinch of asafoetida
8 finely chopped garlic
1/2 tbsp fenugreek seeds
1 tbsp mustard
1 tbsp salt
1.5 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tbsp tumeric
1 cup lemon juice


Method
Pour oil in a round bottom vessel and heat.
Add all the ingredients except lemon and saute for a min
Add the marinated shrimp, turn the heat on low and mix continuously
Once oil separates add lemon juice and keep for 3 mins

Take off heat and cool completely
Store in a air tight glass bottle and let mature for a week

Can be stored for a month outside & 3 months refrigerated
