Soya Matar Pasanda (Soya Chunks with Peas)

Ingredients
1 cup Soya chunks
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp garlic paste
1/2 cup onion paste
1 finely chopped roma tomato
pinch of tumeric
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup peas
1 tsp kitchen king masala
2 tbsp oil

Method
Add soya chunks, pinch of salt to 4 cups of water
Bring it to boil on high heat and let cook for 5 mins.
Remove from heat. After 10 mins, drain out the water.
Rinse with fresh water and then squeeze out all excess water,

Shallow fry the boiled soya chunks in oil and then soak in warm water till they soften

In separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds
Once they splutter add all the pastes and saute for 3 mins
Add tomatoes, tumeric, red chili powder, salt and saute well
Add 2 tsp water and simmer for 2 mins

Add the soya chunks, peas and cook covered for 5 mins.
Add kitchen king masala and cook for another 5 mins

Serve hot with rotis
