Apple Pie


Ingredients
6 honey crisp apples
1/2 cup butter
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 tbsp corn starch
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tsp cinnamon
2 pie sheets

Method
Peel & core apples, slice them into thin semi circular slices
In a pan heat butter and add in the flour and sautée for a min
Add the sugar, water & cinnamon and bring to boil
Set the flame to medium and let simmer for 2 mins

Heat oven to 425 deg C

Line a baking dish with 1 pie sheet
Layer the apples neatly inside
Pour a little flour mix over each layer
Cut the other pie sheet into strips and create lattice work crust 
Pour the rest of the flour mix over the crust slowly so that it doesn't run off

Place in oven for 15 mins
Reduce temperature to 350 deg C
Bake for another 40 mins
