Kalakhand
Ingredients
400gms sweetened condensed milk
200gms paneer
3/4 tsp cardamom powder
7-8 strands saffron
1 cup nuts (cashews, almonds, pistachios)
Method
Grease a platter with butter
Crush the nuts into small pieces
Crumble the paneer
In a pan, mix the paneer in the condensed milk
Please on low flame and let cook stirring constantly.
Once it thickens into a loose ball, take off heat and pour on the greased platter
Level into an uniform layer and sprinkle the nuts
Cool completely at room temperature
Place in refrigerator for 2 hours to set and then slice as required.
Serve at room temperature
