Caramel Pudding
Ingredients
For Caramel
2 tbsp water
4 tbsp sugar
For Pudding
2 cups sweetened condensed milk
2 cups milk
4 eggs
Method
In a bowl mix water & 1/2 the sugar
Heat the mixture and when hot, add the remaining sugar
Let it caramelize. Coat the bowl with the caramel mix.
Beat eggs till fluffy and then mix in the milk & condensed milk
Pour this mix into the caramel lined vessel
Heat water in a cooker, place the bowl in it and cook for 3 whistles
Take the bowl out and cool completely.
Chill in refrigerator for atleast 2 hours
Flip the bowl on a serving plate to unmold the pudding
Note:
If a cooker is not handy, this can be baked in an oven
Heat oven to 350 deg F
Fill a baking tray with water, place the bowl in it
For glass baking trays, bake for 45 mins
For metal baking trays, bake for 30 mins
Time might have to be adjusted based on individual ovens/ baking pans
