Methi Malai Corn

Ingredients 

For paste
2 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 coarsely chopped onion
2 tbsp cashew pieces
2 green chilies sliced
1/2 in ginger sliced
2 garlic pods sliced
2 cardamom pods
1 tsp poppy seeds

For dish
1 cup methi leaves
2 cups corn
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 tsp kitchen king masala
Salt as per taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds
Once the seeds cackle add chili, ginger & garlic. Sauté for a min
Add onion and cook till translucent 
Add in the cashews and poppy seeds, sauté for 2-3 mins
Let this mixture cool and then blend into a smooth paste

Heat oil in the same pan and add the paste. Sauté well for 3 mins
Add in milk & water and bring to boil
Add in the methi & corn
Let it simmer for 5 mins on low flame
Add in salt & kitchen king masala, stir & switch off the flame
Garnish with coriander and serve
