Matki Usal

Ingredients

1 cup matki
1/2 cup grated coconut
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp goda masala
1/2 tsp sugar

1 tsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
5-6 curry leaves
1/4 tsp asafetida

Method
Wash and soak matki for an hour
Boil it in a pressure cooker for 10 whistles

Grind coconut, red chili, goda masala, sugar to a thick paste
Keep aside.

In a kadhai heat oil
Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafetida
Once the mix splutters add in the boiled matki
Add the ground paste, 1/2 cup water and bring to boil
Cook to thicken.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with chapatis
