Vaala bhaaji (Long beans saute)
Ingredients
Bunch of Vaal (long green beans)
1 medium sized potato
1 green chili
5 curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp oil
1 tsp salt
Method
Chop the vaal into small pieces (should yield about 4 cups)
Slice the potato into small pieces
Slit the chili into half
Heat oil in a pan
Once warm, add mustard seeds, curry leaves & green chili
When the mustard seeds splutter add the potato and sauté for a min
Add in the beans, salt, 2 tbsp water and cook covered for 5 mins
Mix all together and cook open till water dries out.
