Chili Garlic Fried Rice
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp finely chopped Garlic
- 1 bunch scallion
- 2 cups finely chopped vegetables (beans, carrots, corn)
- 2 tbsp soya sauce
- 2 tbsp siracha sauce
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 cups basmati rice
Method
Soak rice and keep for 1 hour
Boil water, add salt and rice to it
Let cook for 5 mins
Drain out the excess water.
Spread out the rice on a plate and leave to cool.
Chop the onion part of the green onions into small pieces.
Slice the greens and save for later.
In a wok, heat oil, add garlic and fry well.
Once slightly browned, add the onions, little salt and fry till well browned.
Add in the vegetables
Fry all well on medium heat.
Once the color of all changes, add both the sauces.
Start adding little rice at a time and mix.
Close and keep for 1 min on low flame.
Garnish with scallion greens.
