Shrimp Pot Pie buns

Ingredients

For Stuffing
6 shrimp
1 small onion
2 garlic pods
2 cups mixed vegetables (green beans, carrot, peas, corn)

1 tbsp butter
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp flour

For buns
1 pillsbury crescent sheets
1 cup grated cheese

Method

Stuffing
If shrimp is small, use as is else cut into pieces
Apply 1/2 tsp salt & paprika to the shrimp and keep aside

Mince the garlic.
Dice the onions, carrots, green beans into small pieces

Heat butter in a pan
Add the garlic and onion. Sauté well till browned.
Add in the shrimp and fry till translucent
Add the vegetables, 1/4 cup water, 1 tsp salt, cover and let cook for 2 mins

Add in the flour & pepper and mix well
Add more water as necessary but make sure the result is a thick creamy mix
Simmer for a min
If the stuffing is too watery, the buns will not hold.



Buns
Preheat oven to 350 deg C
Spray oil on a cookie sheet
Roll out the pillsbury sheet and divide into 6 parts
Sprinkle some cheese on each
Add in the stuffing
Sprinkle some more cheese
Wrap up into a ball and place on the cookie sheet
Apply a coat of butter on the buns



Bake for 15 mins
Change to broil setting and keep for 2 mins to brown the buns
Serve hot
