Fish Udda-Methi (Fish curry)

Ingredients

3 medium sized mackeral
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric

For Ground paste
1 small onion
2 garlic pods
1 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp rice
1 tsp coriander seeds
8 peppercorns
3 spicy red chilies
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 golf ball size ball of tamarind

For dish
1 tsp fenugreek
1 tsp split black gram (urid dal)
1 tsp salt

Method
Clean the mackerals and make steak pieces
Apply salt & turmeric and keep aside.

Add all the ingredients for the ground paste in a blender and grind to a smooth paste

Heat oil in a pan
Add fenugreek and split black gram.
Once slightly browned add in the ground paste  and salt
Bring to a boil
Add in the fish and cook closed on sim for 5 mins

Adjust salt to taste
