Peas pulav
Ingredients
1 cup rice
1.5 cups vegetable broth
1/2 cup peas
1 tsp cumin seeds
5 cloves
5 peppercorns
2 bay leaves
2 finely chopped green chillies
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp ghee
Method
Wash rice well and keep soaked in water for atleast 30 mins Soaking rice makes the grains cook faster and also makes the grains long when cooked
Boil vegetable broth and keep aside
Heat ghee in the pan, add all the spices, green chillies and sauté for a min
Add rice and fry till translucent
Add the peas, mix well
Pour boiling vegetable broth and add salt, mix and cooked closed on sim for 15 mins
