Bhendi in Goda masala


Ingredients
1 lb bhendi (okra)
1 big onion
1 big tomato
2 garlic pods
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
1 tsp goda masala
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp oil

Method
Cut 1 inch long pieces of bhendi
Finely chop the onion & tomato
Mince the garlic

In a pan heat oil
Add garlic and let brown
Add onion and sauté till soft
Add in tomato and sauté well on high till well cooked
Add in chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix
Add in the sliced bhendi, mix.
Cover and let cook on sim till bhendi is soft
Sprinkle the goda masala
Mix carefully so to not break bhendi

Cook for another 2 mins
Sprinkle lemon juice and serve hot
