Lobster Caldine


 

Ingredients 

1 lb cooked lobster

1 lb cauliflower 

1 tsp salt


1 tbsp oil

1 onions

3 garlic pods

2 green chilies 

1 tomato

2 cups coconut milk (400 ml)

1 ball of tamarind


Spice mix

10 peppers

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1 tbsp coriander seeds

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder


Method

Chop onions, garlic & tomato into fine pieces

Slit the chilies 

Make small floret pieces of cauliflower 

Chop lobster into small pieces


Toss the lobster & cauliflower in salt and keep aside.

Powder all the spices under spice mix


In a pan heat oil

Add onions and cook till soft

Add garlic & chilies and sauté for 2 mins


Add tomato and cook long till mushy

Add in the spice mix and sauté


Pour in the coconut milk & add in tamarind

Add in the cauliflower & lobster 


Bring to a boil, lower the heat

Simmer for 5 mins on low heat


Pairs beautifully with rice
