Shakshouka




Ingredients 

1 medium sized onion

2 garlics

1 big tomato

1/2 bell pepper

1 tsp oil

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp paprika

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp cumin

5 eggs

Fresh cilantro finely chopped 


Method

Preheat oven to 400 deg F


Chop all the whole ingredients into fine pieces

In a pan heat oil

Add garlic & onions and sauté till soft

Add in tomato & peppers and sauté till mushy

Add in the spices and mix well

Add 1/4 cup water and simmer for 5 mins


Scoop this mix into individual baking bowls

Make a pit in the center and break in an egg

Bake for 16 mins for runny yolk, more for firmer 


Serve hot with buttered bread
