Tendli Fry




Ingredients 

40-45 tendli/ ivy gourd 

1 medium sized onion julienne cut

4 tbsp oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp goda masala (optional)

1/2 cup peanut


Method

Slice the tendli along the length in 4 parts


In a pan heat oil

Add the onion and cook on sim till soft

Add salt, red chili and turmeric powder and sauté for a min

Add the sliced tendli and mix well

Cover and cook on sim till tender, about 10 mins

In the meantime coarsely grind the peanuts 


Once the tendli is tender turn off the heat and mix in the ground peanut & goda masala

 

Serve hot with a side of chapatis
