Rawa Appe (instant)
Ingredients
2 cups rawa (semolina)
1.5 cups yogurt
4 tsp oil lo
1 tsp salt
1 cup water
2 inch ginger
2 green chilis
1 onion
10 curry leaves
4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Oil for sauté
Pinch baking soda
Method
Mix rawa with yogurt ensuring no lumps are formed
Add in salt, oil and water to make thick batter.
Keep aside for 20 mins
Slice ginger into thin strips, onion & chili into fine pieces.
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan
Add ginger and sauté for a min
Add onion & chili and cook till soft
Add to the rawa mix
Add in chopped cilantro
Add in shredded curry leaves
Add soda to the batter and mix it well
Put 1 tbsp of the batter in each hole
Cook covered for 1 min and then flip
Cook for 2 mins
Serve hot with garlic coconut chutney
