Ingredients
2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
1 cup semolina
1/2 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
cashews or raisins
1 finely chopped banana or 1/2 cup pineapple pieces - optional 

Method
Mix milk with water, boil and keep aside.

Heat ghee in a vessel and roast semolina well till it starts changing color
Add cashews or raisins, sugar, salt, cardamom powder and mix well
If you plan to add banana or pineapple, mix it in too.
Pour in the milk and keep on sim till semolina is cooked (softens)

Serves 2
